It means the world to me that so many friends and fellow Red Riders gathered their resources to allow me to purchase an incredible new bike. I rode it, my first ride on it, at the Rochester, Minnesota Tour de Cure on September 20th. It was an awesome 60 mile ride!
Here’s the bike, a Specialized Allez, with the medals from my Tour de Cure rides this summer! And just today, I got the new cycling jersey from my friends at Profil. They have Red Rider shorts too!! The world of Red Riders is nothing short of amazing!!
Also, this month, a friend and co-worker of my brother, Andrew and his wife Lauren, gave me their dog Echo. They have two children under the age of two, and they had two dogs. Echo wasn’t getting enough attention, so they knew he needed a new place. And I was ready. So, Echo lives with me now!! And what an athlete he is! Very soon, I will start my fall running program, and he will be very happy about that! Here he is running at the Mississippi River, a favorite spot of his!
